September’s Featured Spice is Anacapa Deep Dive!
Anacapa Deep Dive Rub is one of the Ventura Spices created to represent the flavors of Ventura. A channel island visible from our coastline, Anacapa Island, is known for its abundant sea life, so Eliah set out to create a blend specifically for fish. The result? This delicious ginger citrus blend! Although this blend was created just for seafood, it also works well with chicken, veggies, fruits, and even beef!
This spice blend is hand-blended at SpiceTopia using organic spices and herbs and is naturally gluten-free and vegan!

Anacapa Deep Dive Stone Fruit Salsa
This is a recipe that is easy, but packs a punch of flavor! The Anacapa Deep Dive Rub may seem odd in a salsa, but the ginger, citrus, salt, and sugar found in this rub pair well with the sweetness of the fruit.
We’ve also added lots of variations to this fruit salsa recipe, so you can mix things up and make this recipe your own!
Anacapa Deep Dive Salmon Cakes
This recipe is simple yet flavorful. Just a few pantry ingredients create a healthy lunch or dinner. Using canned salmon makes this an easy meal for those days when you just don’t have a lot of energy to cook. Even simple meals should be delicious – and this salmon recipe fits the bill.
