Popcorn Health Benefits:

  • 4 grams of fiber per 3 cup serving of popped kernels!
  • Excellent source of antioxidants
  • Good for digestion
  • Low calorie--3 cups of unflavored popcorn has just 50 calories!

So why the bad rap?

Popcorn’s salty fatty unhealthy reputation may have its roots with movie-theater popcorn. That large greasy bucket of popcorn that you snack on while watching the newest action flick can contain up to 1,200 calories, 2650 milligrams of sodium, and 50 grams of fat!
